OVERALL JOB DESCRIPTION:
The MTSS Coordinator position examines and supports KPS Tier I, II, and III behavioral, social-emotional, and academic protocols working with the Executive Team to ensure practices are embedded. The Coordinator will work with building leadership, teams, and teachers incorporating positive behavioral support strategies into daily routines. The Coordinator will examine building and district academic and behavioral data to look for trends and areas for additional coaching and support to reduce discipline suspensions and to increase academic success. The Coordinator will collaborate with outside resources to look for additional support for individual students and families when applicable. The Coordinator will work to ensure that Tier I academic and social-emotional curriculum is being taught in all classrooms and buildings, seeking professional development for staff that needs support. The Coordinator will work with school and district teams to develop targeted school improvement plans based on building and district needs.
Masters degree in a behavioral health-related field; with direct behavioral health work experience.
Competitive Salary commensurate with Education and Experience.
